The Real Online Trolls

The “outside world” has no idea of what we have been through or experienced. Yet they refer to US and our advocacy work as “online trolling.” They claim it is abuse. Veterinarians report that negative themed reviews are “running rampant.” I wonder why that is? We are not advocating because our “vet bill was too high.” We are advocating because the veterinary profession is broken. The only point on their behalf is that of the high rate of veterinarians committing suicide. What about the pet parents that have ended their life over grief or the families’ forever destroyed? We are not the ones who should feel shame. That is for the vets that continue to use immoral and unethical practices. Shame is for the veterinarian that lies for profit, that denies the fact their careless acts caused the life of an innocent pet. So, before you call us “internet trolls” do your research. Educate yourself, please. Once veterinarians are held accountable we will no longer need such strong advocacy tendencies. Lastly, I think it is reversed. I think the “internet trolls” are the ones in the vet industry hiding behind their computers to see what our groups are saying. There is truth in numbers. Look how many of us are in these groups. All of us personally lost our beloved pet. This goes beyond being “upset over a vet bill” and to suggest that is pure insulting. Do not dismiss us as simple "trolls." Shame on the vet industry and the TRUE trolls.
